Jordan Bell was initially the 38th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft out of Oregon by the Golden State Warriors.
The 28-year-old most recently played in the league during the 2021-22 season when he appeared in one game for the Chicago Bulls.
This summer, Bell was a free agent, and Michael Scotto of HoopsHype reported that he would sign an Exhibit 10 deal with the Indiana Pacers.
Via Scotto: “Former NBA champion Jordan Bell is signing an Exhibit 10 deal with the Indiana Pacers, league sources told @hoopshype. Bell will be a veteran leader for Indiana’s G League affiliate, the Mad Ants.
In addition to the Warriors and Bulls, Bell has also played for the Memphis Grizzlies, Washington Wizards and Minnesota Timberwolves over five seasons in the NBA.
His career averages are 3.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists per contest while shooting 55.2% from the field in 161 regular season games.
Bell has also appeared in 32 NBA playoff games and helped the Warriors win the 2018 NBA Championship over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Arguably, his best season in the league came with the Warriors as a rookie when he averaged 4.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 blocks per contest while shooting 62.7% from the field.
