Konstantinos Mavropanos in talks with Napoli, amid Wolves interest
Wolves target Konstantinos Mavropanos is reportedly now in talks with Napoli over a potential move.
In recent days, there have been reports that Wanderers have been keeping tabs on the Greece international.
Julen Lopetegui, of course, has a centre-back shortage at the momen
He only has Craig Dawson, Max Kilman and Toti Gomes at his disposal. This, after Conor Coady and Nathan Collins were sold earlier this summer.
It is thought that Nico Elvedi from Borussia Monchengladbach is a target.
But Mavropanos has apparently been on Wolves’ radar too.
But, just like with Alex Scott, Wolves might be about to miss out…

It was reported yesterday that Mavropanos was keen to leave Stuttgart this summer.
According to Kicker, it’s not Wolves who are in for him, but Serie A champions Napoli.
Napoli lost Kim-min Jae to Bayern Munich earlier this month and have been after a replacement.
Their search has led them to Mavropanos, which may come as a blow to Wolves.
Kicker say the 25-year-old is in contact with Napoli, and that those at Stuttgart are certainly willing to talk about a deal.
Missing out on Mavropanos would be frustrating
Wolves fans have already read today that the club are set to miss out on top target Alex Scott.
The Bristol City youngster is now in advanced talks with Bournemouth.
And it looks as though Wanderers may also miss out on Mavropanos which would be a shame. He is surely going to be very tempted by a move to Napoli, who will play in the Champions League in 2023/24.
Mavropanos has developed well since struggling with Arsenal a few years ago, and would be a fine option for Lopetegui.
