Lazio are reportedly seeking an affordable agreement with Salernitana as they look to bring in Boulaye Dia to the Italian capital.
The Biancocelesti are set for a busy summer, as the squad will undergo a revamp following the departure of Maurizio Sarri and the subsequent arrival of Igor Tudor. One of the departments that the management will be looking to bolster is the attack, particularly the centre-forward role.
This season, Ciro Immobile’s goals have dried up, with Father Time potentially hampering the 34-year-old bomber. For his part, Taty Castellanos hardly impressed in his maiden campaign in Italian football.
So according to Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), Lazio have identified Dia as the right profile to bolster the attacking department, especially if they can sign him on a cut-price. The player currently has a buyout clause worth €20 million. But once it expires, Salernitana president Danilo Iervolino could be willing to do business for just €10 million.
The Granata already have one foot in Serie B as they currently lie at the bottom of the Serie A standings with only 15 points from 32 rounds. Therefore, we can expect a summer exodus in Salerno, which will most likely include Dia.
