The Mets have already spent $2 million to get another commercial for this year’s Super Bowl.
The Mets have purchased a 30-second ad in this year’s Super Bowl for $1 million, per The New York Post.
Super Bow LVII will kick off in Glendale, Ariz, on Sunday, which is the biggest annual event for the NFL, and the Mets want to make sure people know that baseball is right around the corner.
The Mets’ local ad will air during the Super Bowl, and they’ve given fans a sneak peek by dropping the video on their Youtube page.
This 30-second ad features a hustling Brandon Nimmo, Edwin Diaz closing things out, Francisco Lindor talking about his hair with fans, and Kodai Senga facetiming with catcher Tomas Nido to discuss his “Ghost Fork” pitch.
