The Dallas Cowboys take notice of what San Francisco 49ers Pro Bowler Nick Bosa has to say.
Bosa advises Dallas to follow the “blueprint” that the Niners provided as the Cowboys get ready for their biggest regular season match of the year, which is a home game against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 14.
In Philadelphia, the Niners easily defeated the NFL-leading Eagles, 42-19. They rendered the Eagles’ rushing attack completely ineffective in the process, and more significantly, they rendered quarterback Jalen Hurt insignificant.
However, you can see it on tape, Bosa admitted. Of course, we published the blueprint. Bosa expressed optimism that the Cowboys will review the tape in an effort to contain Hurts.
Why Niners Could Quite Just Jalen Hurts, the league’s best dual-threat quarterback, was only able to muster 20 rushing yards on seven carries. Except for the team’s 38-31 victory over the Washington Commanders, he had the fewest rushing attempts and rushing yards of the season.
It’s important to remember that Hurts had his best passing performance of the season in that game, with four touchdown passes against just one interception for a 135.7 passer rating and 76.3% completion percentage. As opposed to that, Hurts had

The Niners frequently rushed two linemen while leaving a quarterback spy in the rear by keeping two defensive linemen back to contain the gaps. The Niners’ use of this tactic prevented Hurts from being able to run as much, which made him throw a season-high 45 passes.
Bosa stated, “It worked out that we forced Jalen to stay in the pocket and escape outside instead of those B-gaps.” “You just need to be disciplined and not give Jalen a quick escape route where he can get to his guys quickly because he looks at the rush every play.
Despite the Cowboys have the Niners’ deep defensive line, they still have one of the best pass rushers in the league in Micah Parsons, along with strong pass rushers in Dorance Armstrong Jr., DeMarcus Lawrence, and Dante Fowler. Dallas actually has more sacks than the Niners (36), coming in at seventh in the league with 37.
In fact, Dallas did a respectable job of containing Hurts in their previous game against Philadelphia, allowing him to gain just 36 yards on 10 carries. Hurts was able to do a great deal of damage through the air on a small number of passing attempts, though; in just 23 attempts, the Eagles quarterback threw for 207 yards. With a season-high 9.0 passer rating, Hurts
