Serge Ibaka is coming off a year where he appeared in 16 games for the Milwaukee Bucks.
The veteran forward averaged 4.1 points and 2.8 rebounds per contest while shooting 48.1% from the field and 33.3% from the three-point range.
However, Ibaka was traded from the Bucks (in the middle of the season) to the Indiana Pacers (who then waived him).
He has been a free agent, and (on Saturday) Bayern Munich announced that they have signed Ibaka (h/t Dionysis Aravantinos of HoopsHype).
Ibaka was initially the 24th pick in the 2008 NBA Draft and was once among the best power forwards in the league.
In addition to the Bucks, the 33-year-old has also spent time with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Toronto Raptors, Los Angeles Clippers and Orlando Magic over 14 seasons.
His career averages are 12.0 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per contest while shooting 51.3% from the field and 35.9% from the three-point range in 919 regular season games.
He has also appeared in an astonishing 152 NBA playoff games and helped the Raptors win the 2019 NBA Championship over Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors.
Ibaka spent the first seven seasons of his career with the Thunder, and at one point they had James Harden, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook (and Ibaka).
However, the team (which made the NBA playoffs all seven seasons he was there), was only able to reach the Finals once and lost to the Miami Heat (2012).
