Liverpool left-back Owen Beck has signed for Dundee on a season-long loan deal.
The 20-year-old spent the first half of the 2022-23 season at League One side Bolton Wanderers but made just nine appearances for the Trotters, including two league starts.
Owen was recalled to Liverpool early amid his lack of game time and continued to develop with the Under-23s, registering three assists in 11 Premier League 2 matches.
However, with Andrew Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas competing for left-back starts at Liverpool, Beck’s path to the first team remains blocked, and he will spend the 2023-24 campaign in Scotland.
The Wales Under-21 international has only played 11 minutes of senior football for Liverpool so far, coming off the bench against Preston North End and Leicester City in the 2021-22 EFL Cup.
Beck was also briefly loaned out to Portuguese outfit Famalicao last term, but he lasted only a month and did not play a single minute for the Primeira Liga side.
