A report headlined “New Orleans Saints Make Terrible Decision on Dennis Allen’s 2024 Future”

The New Orleans Saints are on the outside looking in as they head into Week 17 of the playoff race. Although head coach Dennis Allen has been under fire, it appears that the New Orleans Saints’ higher ups feel the same way, as Ian Rapoport of NFL Network is reporting that the team will probably keep Allen for the upcoming campaign.

In order to maintain their chances of making the playoffs, the Saints must defeat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 17, as a victory would tie them for the lead in the NFC South. Dennis Allen’s 22-45 record may not seem impressive, but it does appear somewhat better because he has a 14-18 record since joining the New Orleans Saints as their coach.

Can the NFC South be won by the New Orleans Saints?
With a 7-8 record and a commanding 17-0 lead over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the road at halftime of their Week 17 match, the New Orleans Saints have proven to be a respectable team.

It appears likely that the Saints will win the division if they can win the final two games. Dennis Allen, the head coach of the New Orleans Saints, may not be the best, but his team has a ton of talented players that can produce big plays on both sides of the ball. The Saints would be in a great position with a home playoff game if they can win the NFC South. However, as the fifth seed in the NFC Playoffs, they would play either the Dallas Cowboys or the Philadelphia Eagles.
