Charlie’s debut for the first team was a memorable one, as he came on as a substitute to score in our Carabao Cup quarter-final tie against Sunderland at the Emirates Stadium in December 2021.

Last campaign, Charlie spent the season in the Championship with Blackpool, where he made 37 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals and assisting four times.

Arsenal said in a statement: “We wish Charlie all the best for his loan spell at Swansea and look forward to seeing his continued development.”

Gooner editor Layth adds: “All the best to Charlie. I’ve watched a lot of his career so far, and he has a big future ahead of him.
“Good luck to a talented young player, a lovely lad and a Gooner Fanzine subscriber to boot.”
