Barcelona keeping tabs on €50 million-rated French supperstar ,PSG also interested

At the same time, though, the La Liga champions are keeping an eye out for possible like-for-like replacements for the 26-year-old.

As Barcelona prepare to bid goodbye to Ousmane Dembele, they are looking at the market for possible replacement candidates for the PSG-bound winger.

It has been suggested that the Blaugrana could decide against signing another attacker and instead focus on a creative midfielder and a right-back.

And, as per reports in France (h/t Mundo Deportivo), Barcelona are keeping tabs on Olympique Lyon whizkid Bradley Barcola as a possible candidate to replace Dembele.

Dubbed the ‘new Dembele’, the 20-year-old winger has been setting the stage on fire in France with his displays for Lyon and the youth ranks of the national team.

A product of Les Gones’ youth academy, the versatile winger has made 44 appearances in which he has seven goals and 12 assists.

On top of that, he has featured five times for the French Under-21 team, scoring two goals.

And, as per reports in France, Barcelona have taken a liking towards the young forward as they look for reinforcements in attack.

However, Barcelona are not alone in the race for Barcola as familiar foes PSG are also interested in the 20-year-old talent.

Indeed, before activating Dembele’s €50 million clause the Parisian giants had made a €30 million offer for the youngster but were shot down as Lyon demanded a sum of €50 million for their academy product.

And even though they are now set to sign Dembele, PSG continue to hold an interest in Barcola, especially with uncertainty surrounding the futures of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

What could work in favour of Barcelona, if they do decide to act upon their alleged interest in the young winger, is that he is represented by super-agent Jorge Mendes, who has close ties with the Catalan club’s president Joan Laporta.
