The injury expert reacted to news emerging from Thorp Arch that claims he’s going to be out for a while.
It has been described as a number of weeks, but in case it’s a Grade 3 rupture, the chance of him having to undergo surgery is high.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Adams, “This sounds like a pretty serious hamstring injury.
“Typically if surgery is required, for Grade 3 ruptures in specific conditions, you’re looking at months out.
“It’s hard to put a timescale on this as it does say weeks but the worst-case scenario can’t be ruled out.”
The 19-year-old midfielder moved to Elland Road last summer and has a contract at the club until the summer of 2024.
He’s been a regular in the Premier League 2 and has also played several games for the under-18s side as well.
Everyone will wish him a speedy recovery and he’s going to be a huge miss until he returns to action which does not look to be any time soon.
