Philippe Clement has been in charge of Rangers for just a few days, but one player has already impressed the new Ibrox manager.
Rangers will take on Hibernian at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
It will be new manager Philippe Clement’s first game in charge of Rangers.
Clement was appointed the Rangers manager just a few days ago.
The former AS Monaco boss has been taking training this week, and he has been impressed by Danilo.
The 24-year-old forward returned to training this week wearing a mask.
Danilo suffered a cheekbone injury against St Johnstone.

However, the Brazilian forward is back in training now, and new Rangers manager Clement has said that he is ready to play against Hibernian this weekend.
Clement said, as quoted in RangersReview: “Yeah he’s adapting, it’s his first moment with a mask which is always different.
Every player reacts differently but you see he gets more confident with it every day.
Regarding Danilo playing this weekend, Clement said: “Probably we will need him.
In my opinion, Danilo is a very important player for Rangers.
That Clement is keen on using the forward in his very first game in charge of Rangers shows just what the new Gers boss thinks of the Brazilian.
Danilo moved to Rangers in the summer of 2023.
And, in my view, the 24-year-old has done quite well for the Ibrox club so far this season.
Danilo has made two starts and three substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers this campaign.
The forward has scored two goals in those games.
Rangers are second in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 15 points from eight games.
The Gers are seven points behind leaders Celtic.
