BBC NEW: Philippe Clement makes the first terrible Rangers mistake by refusing to pick Borna Barisic.

One thing about Philippe Clement that we now know is that, even when he makes a mistake, he isn’t scared to adjust things to fix a potentially unsatisfactory Ranger’s performance.

It was obvious that something wasn’t right against Kilmarnock; the midfield was being neglected and the front three were subsisting on scraps.

Although Philippe Clement has made mistakes in the past and is likely to do so again, his decision to make two changes for Rangers at halftime suggests that he was aware of his mistakes from the beginning.

Philippe Clement commits Killie’s first Rangers error.
This time, since he resolved some of the problems so fast, he is pardoned.

The largest issue, however, is that Borna Barisic, who is rated a 2 out of 10, wasn’t the only one who nearly caused it.

We prepared ourselves by telling ourselves that it would be difficult, physically demanding, that the pitch would play a role, and that we would need to alter our strategy.

We saw a team that looked like the one we’ve seen previously in the second half, so Clement will have learned not to get too worked up about the competition in the Scottish Premiership.
