Bayern Munich have made another strong start to the season but it doesn’t appear that all is well at the Allianz Arena.
Matthijs de Ligt was an ever-present in last season’s starting XI and impressed following his £68m move from Juventus.
However, he has started all four of this season’s Bundesliga games on the bench, only coming on for a brief cameo in each one.
German outlet Bild report that the defender is becoming ‘increasingly annoyed’ about this and that his frustration boiled over after he was an unused substitute in Wednesday’s 4-3 win over Man United.
They claim the usually friendly Dutchman ‘steamed out of Allianz’ after the victory without commenting on the game.
De Ligt’s pre-season was hampered by an injury and he was hauled off at half-time in the 3-0 defeat to RB Leipzig in the German Super Cup.
He has since had to play second fiddle to the defensive partnership of new signing Kim Min-jae and Dayot Up Arena without a word’ after their win over Man United, with ‘frustration growing’ under Thomas Tuchel

Bayern have conceded just four goals in their first four league games with those two at the back but they looked far from solid against United.
De Ligt’s relationship with manager Thomas Tuchel is being put under strain and the Bayern boss admitted he couldn’t guarantee him a starting role on Friday.
