Daniel Farke has a host of selection dilemmas across the pitch ahead of Leeds United’s trip to Southampton on Saturday.
Farke is stacked for options at centre back, central midfield and out wide as Leeds prepare for arguably their biggest game of the season this weekend.
Leeds make the long trip down south to face Southampton, a side who have lost their last four matches after being tipped to be one of the leading contenders in the Championship this season
A win for Leeds would really affirm they are only the right track under Farke after picking up seven points in three games last week.
One man who should be rewarded a start after the weekend win over Watford is Jaidon Anthony, despite the important contributions of both Dan James and Crysencio Summerville.
Farke should start Anthony at Southampton
Anthony should come in and start in place of James at St. Mary’s, moving Summerville over to the right so that can he can be accommodated on the left.
Since moving from Bournemouth, Anthony is yet to start for Leeds but has looked impressive in all three of his cameos from the bench, scoring in the win over Watford.
The 23-year-old always seems to get himself into good goalscoring situations, but is also really good at picking out the right pass when on the ball.
But perhaps more importantly, Anthony has been hailed as someone who is really good out of possession from those who know him well at the Bournemouth end.
That could prove vital at Southampton given their insistence on playing out from the back under Russell Martin.
Southampton have conceded a countless number of goals from losing possession in their own half so far this season, and Anthony’s intelligent pressing could therefore prove crucial.
