Leeds United fans cheered what Georginio Rutter did to Bristol City defender Robert Dickie after a stray elbow hit his face.
According to LeedsLive reporter Beren Cross on 7 October, the Frenchman completely ignored the apologetic hand offered by the Bristol man.
This was noticed by the fans in the Don Revie Stand a loud cheer followed that.
Rutter will have been fuming after missing an early chance and that was one most players would’ve scored.
However, that did not affect his performance in any manner as he continued performing at the level we all have seen in the past few weeks.
Elland Road was buzzing too and he certainly played off the fans’ support and will have liked their reaction to the snub.
The club record signing is keeping Patrick Bamford out of the playing eleven and is proving to be a lot more than his goal-scoring exploits.
Hopefully, he maintains this form and fitness post the international break too as he’s become an important first-team player.
Daniel Farke will also be pleased with the sort of player he’s developed into compared to what he was last season.
He’s also established a solid partnership with Joel Piroe and it’ll be great for the manager to see his attacking duo on the same page.
