Leeds United are looking for their first home league win of the season against Sheffield Wednesday

Daniel Farke has made two changes to his Leeds United Championship starting line-up to take on Sheffield Wednesday this afternoon at Elland Road. It’s been a busy few days for the Whites in the transfer window and there’s the potential to see two debuts this afternoon.

Djed Spence, signed on Wednesday from Tottenham, is named on the bench, meaning Luke Ayling gets the nod to play at right-back and skippers the side. Glen Kamara is included in the squad, too, but will have to make his bow off the bench after completing his respective deal from Rangers. Ilia Gruev is not involved, with Farke saying on Friday that clearance may not come in time for him to feature.

Jaidon Anthony misses out, of course, after making the switch to Leeds from Bournemouth late last night, with Luis Sinisterra going the other way. Joel Piroe makes his first appearance at Elland Road and he’ll be keen to build on his goalscoring bow at Ipswich Town last week.
