Salernitana, a Serie A team, is about to fire manager Pippo Inzaghi since he hasn’t been able to improve theSalernitana team’s performance.
As Salernitana’s second manager of the year, Inzaghi took over for Paulo Sousa, who had done a commendable job of keeping the team afloat throughout the previous year.
llo Sport reports that after Salerno’s defeat to Empoli last night, Inzaghi’s time there is expected to come to an end. The team, who have just 13 points from 24 games, has made the decision. In 16 games, Salernitana has only won two under Inzaghi’s leadership.
Inzaghi’s departure is scheduled to become official within the next few hours, with David’s Ballardini vying to take his position. Another possible name is Leonardo Semplici, who oversaw Spezia in the previous campaign. The last elements of Inzaghi’s dismissal are still pending, but they will be completed shortly.
