BBC NEWS: The Minnesota Vikings have just signed all three of the first-round quarterback targets.

The best local insider in town, Darren “Doogie” Wolfson (KSTP, SKOR North), appears to be very confident that the Vikings love all three of the top quarterbacks mentioned above, barring their visit with Jayden Daniels going completely south or their trade-up partners, like the Patriots (No. 3), Cardinals (No. 4), and Chargers (No. 5) — all drying up. Furthermore, he seems fairly certain that, after all is said and done on April 25, they will have either Daniels, Maye, or McCarthy.

Wolfson is certain that the Vikings will land one of Maye, Daniels, or McCarthy Doogie. He then dives into all the possibilities. In addition to providing some context, he provided himself considerable leeway in his projection. What happens if No. 3 remains occupied by the Patriots? Do they select a quarterback in the first round or do they choose a non-quarterback in the top three? At that point, do they target the Giants, Raiders, or Vikings for a trade back

Two weeks before the draft, though, Doogie returns to the same area and is about as certain as any well-connected insider could be. The Minnesota Vikings have a strong affinity for JJ McCarthy, Jayden Daniels, and Drake Maye. Furthermore, according to Darren, the Vikings will select one of the three players in the draft.
