Daniel Farke and Leeds United breathed a sigh of relief after coming through a tight encounter against Bristol City with all three points.
Goals from Daniel James and Joel Piroe gave the Whites an important three points heading into the international break. It’s another welcome pause from domestic action, with Farke expecting to welcome back a number of key players when they return to the Championship.
Leeds take on Norwich City with the German head coach heading back to his old stomping ground. He’ll likely have Wilfried Gnonto and Djed Spence back in contention, while Junior Firpo could also return to the fold.

Speaking prior to the clash with Bristol City, Farke said: “Jamie will sadly miss the game. His shoulder is too painful and we need some further assessment. I hope he’s available the other side of the international break. He’ll definitely miss the game tomorrow and that’s bad news.

What Farke said (October 3): “Stuart Dallas has joined us in team training already in the last days. He had to return back to individual training so he’ll be back in team training in the next days. Like I mentioned, it’ll last a few weeks until he’s really a topic for selection. “Yes there was a little setback in training and for that he had to return to individual rehab work, but in the next couple of days he’ll return back to team training. Again, it will last a while until he’s back for team selection but it’s good he’s that close again. It’s always good when he’s back on the training pitch.
