BBC Reported: four money factor that will influence Rangers boss decision….

By now, most Rangers fans will have decided one way or the other who they want to be the next manager; Philippe Clement or Kevin Muscat.

Both managers are experienced, Clement has won trophies in Europe whilst Muscat has won them in Australia and Japan.

There is one deciding factor that the Rangers board will probably take in deciding whether or not Philippe Clement or Kevin Muscat is to be their man.

How Rangers make Philippe Clement or Kevin Muscat decision

When you compare the two managers, there really isn’t much between them.

Even on the usually partisan social media sites, fans can be seen flip-flopping between the two.

The good thing is, both are very well respected, proven managers with tangible styles of play.

If Rangers want a manager who is more pragmatic, then Phillipe Clement should be given the nod but, if it is a more aggressive style of play that will be more suitable for domestic football, then Kevin Muscat is the favourite.

In an ideal world, the board should pick the best candidate.

After sacking two managers in less than a year, there is a black hole in the accounts to the tune of several million pounds.

Clement is available now.

Muscat would either cost money to be released immediately or Rangers would have to wait until the end of Yokohama F. Marinos season finishes in December – by that time, the league cup semi-final and finals will have been played as well as the Europa League campaign.

Money talks in football and, when John Bennett and James Bisgrove present the the names to the Rangers board, cost, not quality, could well be the deciding factor between Philippe Clement and Kevin Muscat.
