BBC Update: Leeds United predicted win against Southampton after making three changes in Squad…..

Leeds United were rampant against Watford and managed to secure a comfortable 3-0 victory against them over the weekend.

Next up for them is a trip to St Mary’s where they take on Southampton on Saturday, 30 September.

While Daniel Farke may not want to be too experimental in this game, he will be looking to get the most from his players.

The first change will be one the German will feel compelled to make despite Liam Cooper’s impressive display against Watford.

Saints, despite their bad start to the season, pose a very real threat in the final third and thus, Joe Rodon will come back into the side.

He served his customary one-match suspension after picking up a second yellow against Hull City.

Jamie Shackleton started the Watford game, but with Cooper dropping out, Farke will want a natural leader on the field of play and some experience to back it up as well and could bring in Luke Ayling.

Shackleton can always be an option off the bench if Ayling is struggling or gets fatigued come the hour mark.

Jaidon Anthony impressed when he came off the bench over the weekend and he was also playing regularly in the Premier League before his deadline day move from Bournemouth.

He’s arguably a better finisher than Crysencio Summerville, who was valued at £15million this summer, and Farke may well feel that he can offer something different in the final third.

Dan James will then play on the left flank while Glen Kamara’s impressive full Championship debut will see him getting the nod over Archie Gray.
