Latest Nottingham Forest transfer news as Steve Cooper’s Reds confirm sixth signing of summer window
Nottingham Forest have confirmed the signing of defender Murillo.
The 21-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year deal with the Reds, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2028. He has made the move from Brazilian side Corinthians in a deal which is said to be worth in the region of 15 million euros (about £12.8m).
Murillo is Forest’s sixth new addition of the summer window, following Ola Aina, Anthony Elanga, Matt Turner, Gonzalo Montiel and Andrey Santos in linking up with Steve Cooper’s squad. Additionally, striker Chris Wood’s switch from Newcastle United officially became a permanent one this summer.
Further incomings are expected at the City Ground before Friday night’s 11pm deadline, with a deal for Nuno Tavares on loan from Arsenal close. Outgoings are also anticipated as the Reds shape their squad for the rest of the Premier League campaign.
