Kaizer Chiefs are believed to have struck an agreement in prifnciple with Nasreddine Nabi, with just small details left before sealing the deal.
Kaizer Chiefs are believed to be making significant progress with their pursuit of coach Nasreddine Nabi from AS FAR.
IMPORTANT NEWS: Kaizer Chiefs and Nasreddine Nabi have already signed an agreement!
Nabi is set to take charge of AS FAR in their last league game of the Moroccan topflight league.
If the reports are anything to go by, that could be Nabi’s last league game as AS FAR coach. After that game against FUS Rabat next week Friday, the Tunisian will also contest the semifinal of the Throne Cup. This will be against MAS Fes. If they don’t win the league to Josef Zinnbauer’s Raja Casablanca, who are currently unbeaten and lead the standings. The Cup may still present the side with an opportunity to win silverware.
CHIEFS DETERMINED TO GET NABI
If Nabi is to join Chiefs, their fanbase would like to see him either, upset the odds with a league victory, or cup triumph. Earlier in the week, this publication reported that Amakhosi, led by their executive chairman Kaizer Motaung Sr were stepping up their pursuit! It is believed that they had sent a delegation of club officials to visit the coach’s camp in Rabat, this in an effort to convince him to sign. It was then said that he had two demands, to see a clear club vision and to be guaranteed freedom of selecting his own technical staff.
