The NBA now has a new senior citizen after Udonis Haslem, who had held the title for the previous three seasons, retired after the 2022–2023 season. And compared to Haslem’s performance last year, this one is predicted to have a somewhat higher impact in 23/24.
LeBron James, a standout with the Lakers, is the NBA’s oldest player right now.
James will turn 39 in December and is 38 years old when this season begins. This means that there won’t be any players in the league this season who are beyond the age of 40, barring Andre Iguodala or another aged veteran from making a comeback.The Warriors, who added Chris Paul and Rudy Gay in the offseason, are
the only club with two players among the league’s top ten oldest players.
This list could be updated. Before the season’s opener, Gay or another player whose roster status isn’t assured may be removed; Iguodala might also opt against retiring. or even a free agent like Goran or George Hill
A few lottery winners who were born in January or February 2004 and just missed making this list include Victor Wembanyama, Scoot Henderson, and Dereck Lively II.
Jalen Duren, a center for the Pistons, was the youngest player in this group last year but only missed the cut by three months. He won’t reach adulthood until November 18, though.
