Now, due to his injury, he will reportedly be absent for three to six weeks, apparently restricting him from taking part in preseason practices and games.

The Warriors won’t speed up his recovery, though; everything hinges on how he responds to medication. As Dumas has previously indicated, further information concerning the injury will be available on Monday.

Draymond Green told NBA reporter Marc J. Spears that his ankle is responding well and that the swelling has decreased.

I dodged a bullet and learned that today by the way it’s (positively) reacting. Even with an MRI you don’t see the trend of it immediately. The swelling is down.”

Tuesday marks the start of training camp for the Golden State Warriors. Their preseason game will begin against the Los Angeles Lakers in October. Their regular season will commence against the Phoenix Suns.

Draymond Green has also signed a $100 million four–year contract with the Warriors. In his last season, he played in 73 games and is considered one of the top-notch talents for the Golden State Warriors.
