Breaking news: Embarrassed myself’ – Coco Gauff reveals too much discussing bold Australian Open wardrobe choice

The American won her third round Australian Open match but might have ruined her night a little after an awkward post-match interview.

For the third year in a row, Gauff is into the fourth round in Melbourne.

The World no.3 improved to an 8-0 record in 2025, the third-time she has done this, following her 6-4, 6-2 victory over Canada’s Leylah Fernandez.

The 20-year-old is now into the second week of a Grand Slam for the 14th time in her career and joins Iga Swiatek as the only players to reach the second week down under three times in a row before turning 21.

Gauff’s 8-0 start in three consecutive years makes her just the fifth player in the Open Era to achieve the feat.
