Manchester City have been tipped to bid for Declan Rice this summer, following two failed bids from Arsenal.
It’s no secret that Mikel Arteta is desperate to bring Rice to the Emirates, having made the 24-year-old midfielder his main transfer target.
The Gunners have received two offers, with the last one worth £90m rejected for Rice, but are expected to return with an improved offer.
However, according to several reports, he is also on Manchester City’s radar, with Pep Guardiola poised to thwart his former colleague’s plans. If West Ham were to make a deal with City for Rice, here are four things that could happen.

Arteta expressed strong interest in signing Caicedo in January but saw Brighton reject two offers worth up to £70million.
They have since turned their attention to Rice, but if City warn them, Arsenal could try to resume their pursuit of Caicedo after he pulled out of the running earlier in the month.
Indeed, if Rice moved to the Etihad, Arsenal would need the funds to compete for Caicedo’s signature, with the Seagulls targeting £80m, according to the Times.
