With two weeks remaining in the summer transfer window, stories continue to circulate surrounding Liverpool following failed moves for Roméo Lavia and Moisés Caicedo. While there are unsurprisingly more rumors about players joining the club, potential exits have also been appearing in the gossip columns.
For the former, the club reportedly has six targets lined up for its much-needed defensive midfield signing. According to the Daily Mail, João Palhinha and Cheick Doucouré are on the shortlist, along with Sofyan Amrabat, Kalvin Phillips, André and Khéphren Thuram.
In other words, players that have already been linked with the Reds — though by this stage, that statement doesn’t rule too many midfielders out, in truth. Which way will Liverpool turn?
