BREAKING NEWS: Nottingham Forest finally reach Murillo final transfer ‘agreement…..

The latest Nottingham Forest transfer news as the defender looks to be closing in on a summer move to the City Ground.

Nottingham Forest are closing in on a deal for defender Murillo, as Steve Cooper looks to make more additions in the final week of the transfer window.

The Brazilian market is one that has been used by Forest in recent windows, with the 21-year-old currently playing for Brazilian side Corinthians. He has burst onto the scene this year, and has played a total of just 27 senior games.

Reports suggested that an agreement had been reached between Murillo and Forest over personal terms ahead of a possible move. Forest then turned to work on reaching an agreement with Corinthians over the terms of a deal.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has now given the latest update. Writing on X, formerly known as Twitter, he said: “Murillo to Nottingham Forest, here we go! Verbal agreement with Corinthians on €12m deal plus €3m add-ons fee.”

Should a move be completed, then Murillo could become the sixth new arrival at the City Ground this summer, Ola Aina, Anthony Elanga, Matt Turner, Gonzalo Moniel and Andrey Santos have all completed transfers to Forest.

He will also join fellow Brazilians Santos, Denilo and Felipe at the club. The transfer would seen the centre-back become the most expensive defender to be sold by a Brazilian club.
