Cadena SER have claimed that Harry Kane has now told the Tottenham hierarchy to let him leave this summer if a good offer arrives.

The report states that after hearing from the striker, Tottenham are now receptive to offers for him this summer and have already offered their talisman to Real Madrid.

In addition, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich are also said to be interested in the 29-year-old while Paris Saint-Germain are alleged to be watching the situation closely.

The report states that Tottenham are keen to ensure that he joins a foreign club as they do not want to sell the centre-forward to a domestic rival.

Cadena SER add that Real Madrid have already been asked through an intermediary if they are interested in Kane and they are now weighing up whether or not to make an offer.

It is explained that Los Blancos are concerned about paying €80m-€100m (£69.5m-£86.9m) for a player who will be 30 years of age this summer.

The publication asserts that Carlo Ancelotti’s men could even try to bring down the cost of the operation by including Eden Hazard as a part of the deal.

Spurs Web Opinion

Spurs fans should take this report with a pinch of salt.

If Kane has informed Tottenham of his desire to leave, we will likely hear of it first from journalists such as Alasdair Gold, who has sources high up at Spurs or someone like David Ornstein, who has a lot of connections with agents in the English game.

As things stand, it is pretty clear that Tottenham are not planning to open talks with Kane’s entourage until they have a new sporting director and head coach in place.
