Kaizer Chiefs have identified Percy Tau as one of, if not, their biggest transfer target signings amidst his contract dispute at Al Ahly.
Bafana Bafana superstar and SA football icon, Tau, is one of the targets being looked at by Amakhosi management.
Furthermore, his recent issues at Al Ahli could aid in Amakhosi’s pursuit of his signature.
Amakhosi management are adamant to return the club to its glory days. Therefore, a new permanent, experienced and successful coach is not the only part of the Soweto giants greater plan. In fact, they are aiming to make some high-profile signings to bolster their squad.
This has brought them to former Mamelodi Sundowns, Club Brugge and Brighton and Hove Albion attacker, Tau.
Moreover, Tau and his current side, Al Ahly, are struggling to reach an agreement on his new contracted. Tau wants an increase whilst the African giants want him to stay on the same package for another year. This adds spice to what is already an intriguing scoop. Now, it is up to whether Al Ahly budges.
