Cowboys owner Jerry Jones finally praises head coach Mike McCarthy’s coaching  and offers promise for the future of the team.

“Well, he’s coached three playoff teams in a row,” Jones said in an interview with Pro Football Talk via 105.3 The Fan. I believe he did a fantastic job. He is elevated to a higher position than he was as the walk-around coach, in my opinion, because he is both your offensive coordinator and head coach.

“Everything about those things is good. “You got us in this spot to be as disappointed as we are about the Buffalo deal and our loss there,” I told the staff quite bluntly yesterday. It’s your fault because you guys have worked so hard this season to raise our team’s standards to a level that we, our supporters, and everyone else have.
