David Carmo move unexpectedly signs an official contract with Nottingham Forest through Marinakis’ contact.

David Carmo, who is coming from Porto on a loan with a buyout option, is closing his signing with Greek team Olympiacos this week.

The Dragons quickly found a way to let the defender go after he got into a fight with some teammates and manager Sérgio Conceição.

As it happens, CMTV reports that Nottingham Forest may wind up becoming involved in the matter and obtaining Carmo soon.

Reporter Vitor Pinto explains the situation. He begins by saying that Olympiacos will pay €600k for the player’s loan and have the option to purchase him for €18 million.
Nottingham Forest steps in because it’s said that the amount is much too high for the Greek side, who aren’t used to making such large operations.

According to Pinto, the Tricky Trees and Olympiakos are owned by Evangelos Marinakis, so they will be keeping an eye on Carmo’s performance at his new club.

If the defender makes an impression in Greece, the team may be able to purchase him for that sum and loan him to Nottingham Forest for the upcoming campaign.

Thus, in the upcoming months, Reds supporters ought to adhere to that scenario.
