ollowing the Chicago Bulls‘ home loss to the Orlando Magic on Wednesday, Zach LaVine gave his postgame interview while wearing a Los Angeles hat, leading many to believe it was a sign of what’s to come. Friday’s report by Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports seemingly confirms that notion.
LaVine, 28, reportedly has a shortlist of favorite landing spots, including the Los Angeles Lakers, a team that has been linked to the Bulls star since the offseason.
Another team on LaVine’s radar, as the Bulls continue to shop him, are the San Antonio Spurs. He would like to partner up with rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama and play for head coach Gregg Popovich.
The young Spurs could use a veteran presence and LaVine has already been coached by Popovich while winning a gold medal with Team USA in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
LaVine’s most likely landing spot, however, could be the Philadelphia 76ers. They have the most cap space following the James Harden trade.
