DEAL FINALISED AND MEDICALS SET: Nottingham Forest now make £78m bid to sign unstoppable star replaceable to Jordan Smith…

Nottingham Forest have now made another attempt to sign PSV midfielder Ibrahim Sangare. The player is a long-term target of the Reds and they refuse to give up their chase.

The player has been in the sights of much bigger clubs than Forest, including PSG, Liverpool and Bayern Munich. However, ED, has now claimed that another bid has gone in from the Reds.

Sangare has been with PSV since signing from Toulouse in 2020. He’s been an integral part of the team since arriving in the Eredivisie, making 136 appearances for the club.

Forest are going to have to up the ante in their attempts to sign Sangare, however. He has a release clause of £32 million and the Reds haven’t offered close to that just yet.

It’s claimed that the latest bid from Forest would see the Reds sign him initially on loan, with the Reds buying him in the summer. PSV have rejected the offer though.

Forest have started their season without signing the defensive midfielder they so desperately crave. Sangare would be a quality signing but landing him looks complicated.

The 25-year-old is a quality player. He’s previously been called ‘unstoppable’ and he is exactly the type of midfielder that Steve Cooper craves in his squad.

Forest make bid for Sangare

The one positive to all of this is that the player must hold a bit of a desire to come to Forest. It could be relatively small but surely, the Reds wouldn’t be messing about with this one if they didn’t think he fancied the move.

Sangare would be a quality addition for the Reds. He is a calming influence in midfield and ultimately, he’d bring a different set of skills to the midfield engine room.

Forest will have to get serious though. With some serious clubs keen on signing him, the Reds will either have to stump up the cash or risk him going to play elsewhere this summer.
