Feyenoord reportedly put Nottingham Forest full-back Neco Williams on their winter market target list on Wednesday, 1908.nl reported.
It has been supported by Thursday’s Algemeen Dagblad, which also offers additional information on the Dutch team’s plans for the 22-year-old.
The Nottingham Forest player is being considered as a target for the right-back position, which the Eredivisie team is hoping to fill in January.
Although Feyenoord isn’t yet committed to the Wales international, the newspaper claims that this month he could become a viable option. Dennis Te Kloese, the club’s director, has other names on his target list in addition to him.
Williams, who plays both left and right back, has made 14 appearances so far this season.
He has been substituted in the last two league games by Nuno Espírito Santo, the new manager of Nottingham Forest.
Although AD claim the Welshman is surprisingly open to leaving the Tricky Trees for Feyenoord in January, it’s unclear if this will have any effect.
If they qualify for the summer tournament, this will increase his chances of playing for Wales at the Euros.
