Serie A team During the January transfer window, Fiorentina was not able to complete the signing of Gio Reyna, a midfielder for Borussia Dortmund on loan by Premier League struggling team Nottingham Forest.
At just 17 years old, this player was one of Dortmund’s go-to players in the closing third. A devilish playmaker with “world-class” potential at his disposal, he was briefly on par with Jude Bellingham and Erling Haaland.
However, due to an injury that seems to be happening nonstop, Reyna’s career has taken a completely different turn than Bellingham and Haaland’s. It’s possible to argue that he is as much a part of Nottingham Forest as they are, as Nuno Espirito Santo’s relegation-threatened team signed the American international on loan after he fell out of favor in his native Germany.
