How is Joe Rodon getting on?
One of two summer loan signings from Tottenham, Joe Rodon came to Leeds following Liam Cooper’s ankle injury and immediately made himself at home at right-centre-back alongside Pascal Struijk.
As a starter pairing, Struijk and Rodon are yet to lose a game for Leeds while conceding just five goals in those seven outings – keeping four clean sheets.
The Wales international looks extremely comfortable with what has been asked of him by Daniel Farke, and would be a shrewd permanent signing, should the Whites be in a position to discuss that with Spurs in 2024, which would bring Rodon into the final year of his contract in North London.
What would he cost?
After signing on loan with no apparent option to buy, it’s difficult to understand how much Spurs would demand to sell him in just under a year.
Much depends on whether Leeds are in the Premier League or the Championship, but The Athletic’s Phil Hay has revealed how much Tottenham wanted from Leeds when they first enquired:
