DONE DEAL:  the Los Angeles Lakers  officially announces Dylan Windler’s signing to a two-way contract.

The Lakers are bringing in some reinforcements amid their four-game skid.

The Los Angeles Lakers are currently on a four-game losing streak and are playing ugly basketball. After their defeat by the Memphis Grizzlies, the Lakers quickly realized they needed to make a change. It might not, however, be the assistance we all hope for.

But still, it’s a step. The Los Angeles Lakers and G League guard/forward Dylan Windler have reached an agreement on a two-way contract, according to NBA insider  WojnaroAdrianwski.

The 27-year-old recently played for the New York Knicks G League affiliate and put up a 23-point performance along with 33 rebounds—yes, 33—on Friday.

Three of Windler’s four NBA seasons were spent with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and one was spent with the New York Knicks. He has averaged 3.2 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 0.8 assists in 87 games while shooting 32.5% from three and 41.6% from the field.

We welcome Windler to Los Angeles and wish him the best of luck with our G League affiliate, even though this move may not have been what Laker fans had anticipated.
