OGC Nice have confirmed the signing of Jérémie Boga (26) from Atalanta. The Ivorian winger has signed a four-year deal with Les Aiglons, according to L’Équipe.
Nice were the only side not to have signed a player during the current transfer window, until yesterday. The club have sparked into life this week, completing not one, but two transfers. Morgan Sanson
joined Le Gym on a season-long loan deal on Monday. The Aston Villa midfielder’s move to the Allianz Riviera includes a purchase option, thought to be worth €5m.
Boga has now joined Sanson. The Ivory Coast international, who scored 22 goals in 149 games during his time in Italy, joins from Atalanta for a rumoured €20m fee, €2m of which is bonuses. Having completed the signing of Boga, a long-term target of Les Aiglons, the club will now move to secure further incomings. Negotiations over the signing of Juventus full-back Luca Pellegrini are advancing.
