Stefano Sensi of Inter Milan is reportedly a target for Leicester City in the winter transfer window, and Enzo Maresca has previously expressed his admiration for the player.
The Foxes may think about signing him in the summer when he will be available on a free transfer, according to FcInterNews, which reported three days ago that there is a pause in negotiations between the two clubs.
Based on Gianluca Di Marzio’s most recent report, there appears to have been movement in the agreement to send the 28-year-old to Leicester this month.
He claims that a €2 million deal between Leicester and Inter has been “reached an agreement” for the midfield player’s transfer, contingent on the player’s appearance total and the English team’s promotion to the Premier League.
Maresca’s team is currently leading the Championship table, with seven points separating them from Ipswich Town in second place.
Gianluca Di Marzio claims the Italy international cannot yet move to the King Power Stadium even though the two clubs have reached an agreement.
To formally complete Sensi’s transfer, the journalist notes that the Foxes will first “need to sell” another player. The midfielder’s transfer to Leicester should proceed once this is resolved.
