JUST NOW: Everton receive injury boost ahead of Arsenal game as winger Jack Harrison‘ player returns to training….

Everton have received an injury boost ahead of Sunday’s game against Arsenal as winger Jack Harrison returns to training.

The Blues welcome Mikel Arteta’s side on Sunday afternoon, and Jack Harrison, who was once described as ‘absolutely magnificent’ by Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink on Sky Sports Super Sunday, could be in line for his Goodison Park debut.

The 26-year-old joined the Toffees on a season-long loan from Leeds United last month, but a hip injury has seen the winger remain sidelined so far this season.

Indeed, there was no timeframe provided for Harrison’s return to fitness, other than it would likely be after the September international break.

Everton’s official YouTube account posted a video of the players training ahead of Sunday’s game, with Harrison amongst them as the former Manchester City man stepping up his recovery.

Having missed pre-season and the opening month of the campaign, it is unlikely that the attacker will be selected in Sean Dyche’s starting XI, but if he can make the bench it would be an enormous boost for the Blues

Jack Harrison forms part of Everton’s new look attack, with fellow loan signing Arnaut Danjuma, £25m forward Beto and £15m youngster Youseff Chermiti.

However, Everton fans are yet to see what Harrison can bring to the side, though as the Toffees scored the second fewest goals in the Premier League last season, it is hoped the 26-year-old can help solve the club’s goalscoring woes

Fellow winger Dwight McNeil returned from an injury sustained during pre-season last time out as Everton earned a 2-2 draw at Sheffield United.

Indeed, McNeil was the club’s top scorer last season and his return to action was a welcome sight, and should Harrison soon be available for selection as well, it could be an exciting prospect to see the two in Everton’s attack.
