Arne Slot is set to replace Jurgen Klopp in his living room as well as in Liverpool ’s dugout.

Removal vans have been seen at Klopp’s £4million, seven-bedroom property in the exclusive village of Formby, Merseyside as he moves on. The mansion, which has three lounges, a home cinema, an indoor swimming pool and a landscaped garden, is owned by Liverpool FC. The club bought it from ex-manager Brendan Rodgers, who in turn bought it from former captain Steven Gerrard.

He has said he plans to speak to his legendary German predecessor when he takes over at Anfield. “It’s normal if you go to a new club that you contact the coach. I did this at Feyenoord as well,” he said. “All the knowledge a person has from working a few years at the club, or nine in this case.
