In the January transfer window, West Ham United is reportedly eager to acquire Leicester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho.
Before the January transfer market opens, West Ham is reportedly keeping a close eye on Kelechi Iheanacho, according to a TEAMtalk report.
Although the Scot is reportedly still fully in favor of Michail Antonio, Hammers manager David Moyes is in dire need of bringing in a new striker this winter.
Furthermore, Iheanacho, 27, has already been connected to a move to West Ham—in fact, it was last summer.
This season, Antonio’s play has been very awful, and it appears like he is spending more time on his podcast than he is performing his job on the field.
It appears that West Ham could sign Kelechi Iheanacho to replace the £100k-per-week man.
I believe that we should get rid of Michail Antonio right away, and starting in January, there may be some fierce rivalry for his services.
According to reports, the £100k-per-week forward is open to leaving the London Stadium. If that were to happen, I think the Leicester City player would make a good replacement.
In 343 games for club and nation, Iheanacho has scored 100 goals (Transfermarkt). Even though it’s not the most widely released album, he has excellent technical skill and strong hold-up play.
He seems like a huge improvement over Antonio in my opinion.
If Kelechi Iheanacho is available at a fair price, of course, I believe he would be a very wise signing for West Ham this winter.
