Good News: Leeds Doctor made Injury revals for Wilfried Gnonto after medical Research….

Leeds United attacker Wilfried Gnonto may even have a fracture on his ankle after injuring his ligament, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert believes that surgery is not common on the ligament and even in case of a ligament rupture, he may return in four weeks too.

He sustained a problem in the first half of the 0-0 draw against Hull City last week and has not featured for the Whites since then.

Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Gnonto

This means he suffered what’s called an inversion ankle sprain with the ankle/foot going inwards which stressed the ligaments on the outer ankle.

The timeline typically depends on the severity of the ligament damage and possible fracture but surgery is not common for the ligament itself.

Gnonto appeared to be on his way out of Elland Road in the summer but ended up staying put eventually.

He has looked lively on a few occasions this season but knows that he’ll have to be at his best to win his place back in the eleven.

Joel Piroe and Georginio Rutter are almost undroppable while Dan James, Jaidon Anthony and Crysencio Summerville have all showed signs of promise.

Right now, Gnonto’s main focus will be on getting back to full fitness and being in contention for selection.
