Eagan, Minnesota)—Kirk Cousins, the quarterback for the Vikings, may face some challenges in his offseason pursuit of a new contract. According to Albert Breer, the Vikings are unwilling to offer Cousins a fully guaranteed contract in free agency. Although Cousins’ contracts with Minnesota have been fully guaranteed up until this point, the 35-year-old is coming off a season-ending torn Achilles injury in the middle of the 2023 campaign. Cousins passed for 2,331 yards, 18 touchdowns, and five interceptions in eight games last season.
