Yesterday evening’s Serie A win over Salernitana confirmed Lautaro Martinez as the only Ag player without a real backup in the squad.
Martinez did not make a start yesterday evening at Stadio Arechi.
One of the Nerazzurri players that received a break in that game was the Argentine, who serves as Inter’s captain.

But in attack, Mediaset contend, it was a much different story.
Alexis Sanchez took the place of captain Martinez alongside Marcus Thuram.
The Chilean is certainly a player with great quality. And he did show it in flashes.
But the problem was that Sanchez simply does not bring the same kinds of attributes that Martinez does.
The Argentine is an out-and-out striker.
He is Inter’s main goal threat, as he has demonstrated all through the current season. And he gave an even more emphatic demonstration in the second half against Salernitana after he came on.
