Thursday he celebrated his 100th birthday at the Lutheran Senior Life in Jersey City and in two weeks he’ll be tuned to the television to root on his beloved New York Mets when the regular season gets underway. His son, Lenny, credits hobbies like baseball and reading for his excellent health.
