Almería are expecting Everton to raise their bid for striker El Bilal Touré sooner rather than later and get a deal over the line for him quickly.
That’s according to IDEAL, who cover the situation around the player today amid a developing battle for his signature.
Everton have been credited with interest for several weeks as they look to overhaul Sean Dyche’s forward line and add much needed goals to it.
El Bilal Touré seems to be the one they want and Almería are more than open to sale if they can get a big figure for the player.
IDEAL explain that the club understand that it ‘should not take many days’ for a sale to become a reality, although they are not going to put any pressure on the situation.
They are comfortable with how things are progressing and know that any final agreement ‘will be very satisfactory’ for all involved. Almería are happy to wait, believing that sooner rather than later the call will arrive offering the price they want.
The Spanish side feel very much in control of the situation and would be willing to accept a deal including variables to get to the figure they want.
They are aware of reports from England that Everton have raised the bid for the striker and are willing to offer €30m, a figure Almería would be happy to accept as it would be a club record.
The hope behind the scenes, though, is that an auction for the player is opened up and they can get an even bigger figure for the striker. Whether that’s from Everton, whose financial situation would suggest they won’t be making huge offers, remains to be seen.
Almería are very much expecting a bid that will satisfy them to arrive ‘at any moment’, though, at which point they will tell the striker to pack his bags and focus on getting his replacement.
